They build them from ice blocks and with a fire in the middle.

Because they are cheap, easy to build and safe.

11. How do people in Yemen build their homes?
People in Yemen have got earth homes that are traditional and have beautiful decorations.

The Bedouins, because the goat-hair tents are very comfortable, easy to carry and safe in sand storms.

13. How is the traditional tent of Bedouins usually built?
It is usually built from goats’ hair and they have got two rooms one for the visitors and one for the family.

It is an old house in Kuwait and now it used to show local handicrafts.

It is in China. It is a home for the emperor and it’s got 9000 rooms.

They are the oldest buildings. They are royal tombs and they are made of two million blocks.

It mean a sport where two players fight each other like boxing, fencing and taekwondo.

I usually get up early and ready for school. In the afternoon, I do my home work and use the internet to look for
information.

I usually visit my grandparents and then go out for dinner.

3. What safety rules should we follow at the science lab?/ How can we stay safe in a science lab?

We need: apples, flour, sugar, cinnamon and oats.

2. What is your favourite restaurant? Why?
I like pizza hut because it has many types of pizza.

3. What food keeps you healthy?
Fruit and vegetables

4. What is Eid al-Fitr?
It is a religious festival after the month of Ramadan when Muslims pray a special Eid prayer.

5. What does Eid al-Fitr mean to you?
It is a time to help the poor and visit relatives and to forget arguments.

6. How long does Eid al-Fitr last?
It lasts for 3 days.

7. What do you know about the “Chinese New Year Festival”?
It celebrates spring and lasts for 15 days. People decorate houses and streets with flowers and fruit and
on the last night there is a lantern festival and fireworks.

8. What do the Chinese do in the new year festival?
They visit relatives and young people get money in red envelopes.

9. What is the Helston ”furry dance”?
It is a celebration of the coming of spring in England.

10. What do the English do in the “ furry dance” festival?
They decorate the streets with flowers and follow an old route in town.

11. How do the Japanese celebrate “The New Year Festival”?
They cook special food and rice cake and put paper decorations. They say prayers and visit friends.

12. What is your favourite shopping market in Kuwait? Why?
The Avenues because it has nice shops, 10 cinemas and 35 restaurants and cafés.
